Diwali Message from the Indian High Commissioner.

I am pleased to learn that the National Council of Hindu Temples (UK) will be celebrating Diwali.

Diwali, the festival of light, symbolises the victory of righteousness, the lifting of spiritual darkness d the renewal of life. It marks the auspicious beginning of the New Year and brings the joy of hope and renewal. This great festival is celebrated with fervour and gaiety and binds the community of Indian orogin to the land of their ancestors.

I wish the participants all happiness and success.
