The National Council of Hindu Temples UK (NCHTUK) was established in 1978. It is the oldest and one of the largest Hindu umbrella bodies linking over 200 Hindu Temples and Faith Organisations and works with them for the benefit of the Hindu community across the UK. To find out more about us click here.
Our main focus is to support the Temples of the UK, their Management Teams and their Employees in their work of helping Sanatan Dharma to flourish so that all the people of the UK have access to the oldest, and many have called it the wisest and deepest, religious and spiritual heritage that humans have ever percieved. Especially dear to our hearts is the sharing of our ancient Vidya with youngsters and helping the Temples to inspire their congregations to actively explore their Religion and Heritage.
NCHT UK also advises and consults on matters relating to interfaith dialogue, community consultations and capacity building in Temples, and advises and challenges legislation and policies that may affect the Hindu Community in the UK.

Rajiv Malhotra: The Best Lecture on "Who WE Are" : Hinduism & Dharma Hindi USA is the largest organization in North America dedicated to teach Hindi to Indian diaspora kids.
It runs 22 schools in New Jersey, with nearly 4,000 students. All its teachers are volunteers without pay.
Its the work of Devendra Singh and his team.

Hinduism is more than a religion; it is a way of life. It is not a man made religion, founded or created by any prophet. It has no origin and no end. It is a religion of freedom and, unlike most other religions it allows absolute freedom of one's faith and mode of worship. Indeed, it is the only religion in the world, which respects the right of people to realize the Almighty by their own free will.
The History of Hinduism has proved that it is a living force. Both hostile rulers and Foreign brutal religious aggressors could not banish it because it is a religion of Scholars and Warriors with self-experience and self-realization. It is
not based on any dogmas or set of rules to be accepted with blind faith which is why atheism is also accepted in it. Yet, Hinduism has a very close understanding of and relationship with the Almighty God.

Dr.Subramanian Swamy interview on Hinduism with CTS TV Canada (Full) Dr Swamy talks about Hinduism. He says that in Hindu Dharma the creator of caste system was not based on the birth. In last few decades caste system became the basis of birth. But now it is melting. Now people are going away from the birth based caste system. The only place where people still feel strong about Caste system are marriage and elections. Now in the rural areas there are teaches who are from backward castes. Now slowly in Hindu system caste system is becoming irrelevant.
In Sanatan Dharma caste system was never created. There is no mention of caste system in Vedas. It was "Shurti or "code" where caste systems are defined and that was also not defined on the basis of birth. These 'Shurti" defined caste system for managing the work in better manner. Caste was on the basis of work not birth.
